Inspired by a favorite spot on Beaver Creek, just outside of Sedona, where I plein air paint often. It is a serene place for most of the year. Summer is a time of happy families enjoying the cool pool during the scorching months. It becomes peaceful once again in autumn , and oh so colorful. The shimmering upside down world of the reflections almost always show the deep azure of the sky. Playing off against the rich paprika of the red rock shelf the fall palette is an irresistible subject.
