In many cases the ladder is seen in ascension towards the moon or sky. It's not only about the pursuit to better ourselves and seek knowledge, but also the idea of an everlasting attempt to keep an open mind; a practice and reminder to recognize where we come from and where we are headed. Ascension is a journey.”
