U’nangwvasi consists of three wooden panels engraved with the same design, stained with blue and yellow colors referencing the colors of the Hopi cloud. The third panel has a separate design with various Hopi symbolism and a singular square in the center that represents the center, or the heart.
In Hopi, U’nangwvasi can be translated to a heartfelt wish or hope; using the strength of your heart for prayer and completion of a task.
