It was balloon fiesta season in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and to kick off October, Gallery Hózhó welcomed Ira Lujan, glass artist, and Ryan Singer, a Diné (Navajo) painter. Ira Lujan (Taos/Ohkay Owingeh) creates three-dimensional sculptures from blown glass, blending bright color and light. Ryan Singer uses the toys, movies, and TV shows of his childhood to relate narratives from his cultural heritage. We were excited to celebrate these two artists and appreciated the opportunity to showcase new works by Ira Lujan and Ryan Singer. Guests stopped by Gallery Hózhó at Hotel Chaco to experience their works in person!
