Sculpture demonstration with Mark Feldman

Saturday | October 03, 2026 | 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Located in Gallery Hozho at Hotel Chaco

Kick off Balloon Fiesta with an afternoon of sculpture and discovery with artist Mark Feldman. Working with high-quality stone and found objects, Feldman creates abstract sculptures that bring together unexpected contrasts: organic and manufactured forms, rough and smooth surfaces. Watch Feldman demonstrate the hands-on process of carving and polishing stone as he transforms raw materials into finished sculptures. See how the character of each stone guides the work and how carving, shaping, and polishing reveal the forms within.

Join us for a chance to meet the artist, see his process up close, and experience the making of a sculpture from raw stone to polished surface.
