Julia Lambright, born and raised in Russia, is known for her egg tempera paintings, a media she studied while learning to create Byzantine icon paintings. Her dense, vibrant dreamscapes explore the capricious nature of memory. In the past few months, Julia has been working with pastels, exploring the immediacy with the media to capture the places from her memory.
