Celebrate the legacy of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) with a special event at Gallery Hózhó this June. Since 1994, IAPS has hosted a biennial conference bringing together pastel artists, collectors, and organizations from around the world to share ideas and celebrate the vibrant possibilities of pastel. June 2026 marks the organization’s final in-person conference, making this a meaningful moment to honor its decades of influence in the art community. To mark the occasion, Gallery Hózhó will feature pastel works by IAPS member artists Julia Lambright and Vasili Katakis.

Our opening reception will also highlight talented local makers, including natural skincare from Global Apothecary with owner Kelsey Norris, jewelry by Marina Hartwig, and homemade pastries and snacks by caterer Andrea Platero.
